(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: KDE 2.2.0 Beta1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Debian Packages
Compiler: gcc 2.95
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

It'd be neat to have the ability to block images by size. I've seen this feature in Mozilla (it's a feature NOT in mozilla's options) and in the macintosh browser iCab.

Blocking images by size would allow several things. First of all an user could block commonly sized banners like 460x80 etc.. Second 1x1 images could be blocked. These are commonly used in web pages as small tracking features which set cookies record referrer info etc...

I think I read somewhere that there were plans to expand Konqueror's filtering abilities so things like Junkbusters would not be necessary. I think that this feature would help Konqueror's filtering abilties tremendously (this feature is not in Junkbusters but is present in it's windows-only replacement(whose name has escaped me)).
