The new account wizard can't be completed because of the parent account selection step which does not show the root equity account when "Show equity accounts" is checked.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Check "Show equity accounts" in settings
2. Run the new account wizard
3. Select 'Equity' as account type
Actual Results:  
The parent account can't be selected.

Expected Results:  
The parent account should be selectable.

This is still an issue for me and I am using version 4.6.2.

Did this patch make it into the 4.6.2 release?

As the 'Version fixed in' field of this report states it will make in in the 4.6.3 version (looks like it will be released somewhere between the end of August and the beginning of September). It's not in 4.6.2.

Don't know how I missed that Cristian.  Thanks for taking the time to point it out for me.  I'm absolutely loving kMyMoney.  You guys have done an amazing job.  Just awesome.
