Screen capture showing misrendered menu

Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

See attached; note this happens in two different graphic cards.
When I open the hidden icons by clicking on the ^ on the panel I get a swish animation as the menu arrives, but some is left behind.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Happens >75% of times; on both my host machine (Kubuntu Precise testing with a mix of 4.7.95 and 4.7.90 packages) and a freshly installed Kubuntu Precise testing (daily image - as of 2011-12-28 - again mostly 4.7.95)

Click the ^ next to the clock on the right of the panel; watch as hidden icon me nu appears with multiple copies/parts of copies vertically above each other - see attached.

Actual Results:
See attached; multiple copies of menu vertically above each other - probably left from the animation

Expected Results:
One menu at the bottom.

System 1: Host with Radeon HD4350 on open driver
System 2: KVM guest with emulated Cirrus card going via VNC to virt-manager's VNC viewer - see attached snapshot of the guest.

I have seen such effects a while ago, but never regular enough to actually make a report for it. Is it still happening in a recent (4.8.3+) version?

It seems to have gone a way sometime in the last few months; 4.8.3 seems happy.

Thanks to whoever fixed it!

Marking as fixed then, thanks for your feedback.
