(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kdevelop Version: 1.1 Severity: wishlist Bugreport ID : 09:0026.03.00 Originator: Talin E-Mail: talin@acm.org Subject : Allow option to have documentation history list to have submenus Error Class: change-request Error Location: documentation browser Priority: low Bug Description --------------------------- The pulldown menus for the "forward" and "back" buttons in the documentation history are much improved in this version in terms of clutter. However I could suggest a further improvement: Place subtopics into submenus. That is when browsing a topic and then navigating via an internal anchor place the internal anchor navigation into a submenu instead of adding a whole new menu entry. Alternatively simply have an option that disables internal navigations from adding elements to the history menu. Why do I want this? My typical usage pattern for documentation is this: When I'm working with a class I tend to look up lots of different member functions of that class; I often need to revisit the class but I seldom need to revisit individual members of the class. Sincce these are cluttering up the history meny making it hard to read I would like to get them out of the way. How to repeat the error ------------------- Bugfix or Workaround ---------------------- System Information ------------------------ KDevelop version: 1.1 KDE version: 1.1.2 QT version: 1.44 OS/Distribution: Red Hat 6.0 Compiler: gcc misc :
