- What I was doing when the application crashed:

the session from which tried to restart was in operation for about 3 hours. i've closed all visibly open apps before i clicked on application launcher and pressed the shutdown-->restart button. before that i installed many packages alongside/to use opensync, but plasma desktop has crashed like this already more often over the last couple of days (I've installed and started to use kubuntu only about a week ago)...

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
