apper with empty icon and empty menu

Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.7.3) 
OS:                Linux

After doing an update with apper it only shows an empty icon in the systray. Right clicking shows an empty menu.

Hovering the systray shows "No restart required package: openSUSE-2011-15"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Do some updates via apper

Actual Results:  
Empty icon in systray
empty right-click menu

Expected Results:  
icon + menu

I have this exact behaviour too in Fedora 16.

And if I click with the right button I have a small application bar with "Apper".
