Description zannasu.crossman 2011-10-28 16:13:15 UTC
Application: plasma-desktop (0.4)
KDE Platform Version: 4.7.2 (4.7.2)
Qt Version: 4.7.4
Operating System: Linux 3.0.0-13-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 11.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

This time I was rebooting because my internet had log-jammed. I'm using a still unstable upgrade of Ubuntu, until I can get a backup and do a clean install.

I've actually logged in to totally black screen with no response because the software isn't activating at all. I've cycled through logging into different desktops (Plasma Mobile, Ubuntu, Ubuntu no effects, Plasma) then rebooted to a normal boot.

I started with Ubuntu Natty. Looking for a better graphic option for my desktop I installed KDE and have made changes from there. I have not installed KDE as initial base because I'm trying to keep some consistency across my network. The debugging tools took several attempts to get installed and functioning. But I think the majority is from repositories.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
