- What I was doing when the application crashed: Adding a new Default Panel.

- Unusual behavior I noticed: Tearing of the display prior to the crash

-Other important details: Using Nvidia 173 driver, installed by default, will try the current driver though the consistent system freezes it was causing with Unity has got me feeling apprehensive about it allowing my display to work properly at all.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
