(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kicker
Version: KDE 2.2.0 Beta1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Debian Packages
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I'm in the US on 12-hour AM/PM time. It's nice that the clock is set to 12-hour time when my Country settings are set to US but right now the date looks bare without an indicator for am/pm. Right now it's 6:22pm and it just says 6:22. It'd be nice if there was an option to show either the text 'am' or 'pm' or if you could do it like digital clocks where if it's currently PM a dot shows up lined up with the top of the time on the left side. I suppose it would make sense that for 'Plain Clock' you would have am/pm to the right of the time and for 'Digital Clock' you would have the dot. : )

If you adjust your date/time format you can get am/pm for the plain window.

since this is already possible, am closing this BR

I think the default clock type "Digital Clock" would be much clearer if it specified AM/PM or just A/P. Most if not all digial clocks I've seen also do that.

There seems to be some unused space on the left of the time that can help accomodate the extra info without making the clock any bigger.
