example image

Version: latest svn snapshot (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS: Linux

See the example image (attached).

At the first pair of images be can see as the hahstag #VALPARAÍSO (or #VALPARAISO) is displayed in the identi.ca webpage, but in choqok, the same hashtag, is not "recognized".

At the second pair of images be can see as whether the spanish character ñ, is present in a hashtag, this is not recognized by Choqok, but the Twitter web page does it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Type, in Choqok, parentheses any hashtag, send the message to identica or twitter and see it in the respective web page and Choqok.

Actual Results:
These hashtags are not recognized by choqok

Expected Results:
Any hashtag is recognized by choqok

I get a similar thing, with only the part up to the first non-ASCII character is clickable: #Genética #Bioinformática

For these string only #Gen and #Bioinform

I have attached another image with a few examples (choqokbug.png).

At the first group of images (blue) can see some similar examples to the previously explained.

At the second group of images (red) can see other related examples.

At the first pair of images can see as the last url is not correctly displayed in choqok. Choqok adds the last parenthesis into url [http://ur1.ca/58esr)]. As can see it does not ooccurs in identi.ca webpage.

At the second pair of images, can see that Choqok makes clickable a alleged url, but it does not is an url (EL·MUNDO.es).

At the third pair of images can see that choqok does not make clickable a twitter user name (RT@christianpino).

At the fourth pair of images can see that choqok recognizes, into a url, an emoticon when the url is not clickable on twitter.

Finally, at the fifth pair of images can see how choqok makes clickable "2.no" but it does not is an url or hashtag.

Please, excuse my english.

Thanks so much.
