i've my desktop folder in folderview widgets on a dual-head / twinview setup.
If i navigate subfolders using folderview, plasma-desktop crashes on the first or the second picture while trying to display the preview.
Also the preview appears on the upper left corner of the screen instead of a position near the mouse pointer.

Downgrading to kde 4.7.0 solves the issue.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
navigate subfolders using folderview
point the mouse on a jpeg
point the mouse on another jpeg in the same folder

Actual Results:  
jpeg preview tooltip appears on the upper left corner
plasma-desktop crashes

Expected Results:  
tooltip near the mouse
not a crash

I also tried with a fresh user, the same happens

Same here, preview appear on wrong screen but no crash for me
