(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: keditbookmarks
Version: KDE 2.1.1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Not Specified
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Is it possible to use Bookmarks like:
javascript:openWindow(URL...)? I'm using a Web based Bookmarksystem and I'd like to have a Bookmark in Konqueror that opens a new Window to add the current Page to the Bookmark system. But Javascript doesn't execute in Bookmarks.

I see this as something that should be easily fixed unless javascript URLs
aren't allowed in the first place. I use Backflip which depends on this
capability to add bookmarks. Unfortunatly I'm finding that I have to switch
browsers too often because of this. Konqueror is a really cool browser and
would be able to be my primary browser if this capability was added.

They are specially handled by khtml so this is far from an easy fix.

Yes the status of this bug can be improved: by a patch ;-)
