- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I has Nepomuk and Strigi started and ordered it to index my files. I gave it temporarily a lot of memory to improve performance of indexing (I don't know whether higher RAm available is supposed to improve only queries or indexing as well) and let it do its job.

After some time, crash was reported. I did nothing special, just searching web, so I don't know what could lead to crash. Nevertheless Nepomuk and Strigi continued to index my data. So I'm reporting issue just for the case.
