Description Hussam Al-Tayeb 2011-07-28 12:22:03 UTC
Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS:                Linux

after installing kde 4.7.0 from binary packages, I got two launcher shortcuts in my taskbar. one for dolphin and one for firefox
I right clicked on them and 'removed launcher'
then after restarting the computer the next day, they are back.
I opened ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc
and found the following lines:

[Containments][1][Applets][5][Configuration][Launchers]
browser=preferred://browser, , ,\s
filemanager=preferred://filemanager, , ,\s

shouldn't those lines disappear when I remove the firefox and dolphin launchers?
sounds like a bug where the settings aren't being updated.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install kde 4.7.0
2. remove the dolphin and browser launcher shortcuts from taskbar

Actual Results:
launchers come back next time I log into KDE

Expected Results:
launchers shouldn't reappear next time I log into KDE
