Description Carl Schmidtmann 2011-07-01 13:01:32 UTC
Application: plasma-desktop (0.4)
KDE Platform Version: 4.6.3 (4.6.3)
Qt Version: 4.7.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.38.8-32.fc15.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution (Platform): Fedora RPMs

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Leave the system run for 24 hours and plasma will take 99% of CPU and all RAM will be in use. Then if you try to restart or halt, plasma desktop crashes.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Desktop actions are slow. Trying to select one of several Konsole windows from the the task bar takes 5-10 seconds to even show the list of windows. Hitting the Shutdown button in the widget'?' area takes 5-10 seconds to bring up the dialog for selecting between "Logout", "Restart" and "Shutdown".

The crash can be reproduced every time.

-- Backtrace:

I have the same Problem, but without the crashing issues. Kdeinit4 is eating all of the CPU after running one day
