When you start Dolphin in $HOME (i.e. KRunner → "~" → Enter) it displays folder as empty until you manually refresh.

Some people confirmed it in Chakra forums: http://chakra-project.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?pid=29172#p29172

It also happens, for instance, with activities. I close an activity with Dolphin opened with five tabs. When I reopen the activity, Dolphin selected tab shows empty until you manually refresh.
