You could have used the configuration dialog of the folders to select a new parent folder. I'm pretty sure this already worked in the version you use. Nope ismail, you don't get this one :-) IMHO this is not a dupe. Bug 18170 talks about changing the folder order, this bug is about moving folder with drag 'n'drop. It might be that they are related but one of the devs should close this then.

Moving and copying folders per drag&drop and by context menu is supported since some time now (3.5.6 or 3.5.7 I think).
