Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux when viewing a bmp, png, jpg or other image file and in split window mode (2 or more folders side by side in same window, the focus changes to the neighboring panel very irritating because one by clicking "go back" goes back in the wrong panel. no devastating bug, but irritates the hell out of anyone doing a lot of *work* with graphic files. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: go window, choose split view, open a graphic file in the left panel, view the graphic, click the back arrow, and your *righthand* panel will go back one step, instead of the lefthand panel where your focus was. In other words, your focus will change to the right hand panel whenever viewing graphic files. normal directory maneuvering does not have this effect, the focus stays in the same panel where one is working. Actual Results: wrong panel gets focus. Expected Results: same panel should keep focus, resulting in going back from previewing the graphic to the filelist. same panel should keep focus, resulting in going back from previewing the graphic to the filelist. this is happening on opensuse 11.4 RC 1
Thanks for the bug report. I can confirm the problem in master.
Cannot reproduce in 4.7.3. Can you reproduce this with konqueror from KDE 4.7.3 ?
I can still reproduce this in a 4.7 and master branches, but only if the sidebar is hidden.
