(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdevelop
Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE 2.1.1 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Linux-Mandrake 8.0 i586
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Linux-Mandrake 8.0 2.96-0.48mdk)
OS: Linux 2.4.2-11mdksmp i686
OS/Compiler notes:

Hi

I have created two projects for client and server side of an application. However Kdevelop doesn't allow me to keep both projects open simaltenously. When I start kdevelop with second project it says that it failed to shutdown the project last time.

While I have not noticed any corruption and can continue to work it would be great if kdevelop checks for a running copy of kedevelop and create a separate set of lock file(s). So that I cn peacefully start two or more projects simaltenously.

 Regards
   Shridhar

You can run two copies of Gideon just fine.
