Version:           svn trunk (using KDE 4.5.1) 
OS:                Linux

I draw a simple shape, like a square, filled with one color.

Then I try to use the "Select contiguous area of colors on this layer.

It keeps searching and I can't do anything, I have to close Krita

Reproducible: Always

use node projection for select continous so that you can also select on shape layers
don't show the cursor forever in case something fails
