Version: 2.4.0 (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux I have a lot of FLAC Files which my MP3 Player cant play. I used Banshee becease he automatically converts everything to MP3 when putting the musik on the flash drive. Amarok seems to have a smiliar function but it doesnt do anything. It just copies the FLAC Files 1:1 to the stick and ignores everything whet i set at "convert" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Start amarok, right click an album --> copy to --> MP3 Player Actual Results: 3 Buttons shown up, copy, copy + convert with preset, copy + convert with manual set What every you click, he just copies the flac files Expected Results: he should convert it before he copies it to the flash drive
Same here - FLACs are simply copied to collection, no matter what I choose. KDE 4.6, Amarok 2.4.0 on Gentoo.

It hasn't been working for me either. I've got openSUSE 11.4 with KDE 4.6.0 and Amarok 2.4.0. I tried transcoding both FLACs and AACs to MP3 and WMA. None works. I've got ffmpeg, naturally.
Same for me - openSuSE 11.4 - amarok 2.4.0.90 - KDE 4.6.1

This never really worked for mobile collections so I disabled the menu entry until a better solution can be found.
