Version:           SVN (using Devel) 
OS:                Linux

Clicking on a .png link written in Konversation, Konqueror opens and loads the remote image file. It is, however, displayed as text. When then clicking on either the "Reload" or the  "Go" button, it correctly shows the image.

Reproducible: Didn't try




OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop
Compiler: gcc

I think there was a thread on kfm-devel about this very recently. Not sure of the conclusion, though.

The kfm-devel thread you are looking for is

It is a bug exposed as a result of two bug fixes that occurred about the same time. One was by myself and the other one was by David. Anyhow, I guess I can try to come up with a fix for this based on one of the fixes David suggested.
