(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kivio Version: 0.1 (using KDE 2.1.2 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.1.2-2 (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20010319 (Debian prerelease) OS: Linux 2.4.4 i686 OS/Compiler notes: It seems that there is no good way to rotate the stencils 90 degrees specifically once they are on the working page. Perhaps there is a way somewhere but it is too obscure for me to find. I think that such a feature is basically imperitive and should be added soon. Version: 1.2 Beta1 (using KDE 3.0.0 ) Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2.92 Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.2 2.96-109) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.9-31 OS/Compiler notes: Hello I totally agree with this post but I would like to add that the stencil objects should be able to be rotated to any desired orientation not just 90 degrees. Cheers Jesse Bisnette (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)
I see that in the stencil sets provided by theKompany the have separate stecils for up, down, left, right orientation of items. Perhaps the same could be done for the freebee flowcharting and logic sets. Allowing the vertical orientation of text inside a stencil would help especially for tall thin boxes. Regards, Roger Bailey
I just want to add that it is almost unusable if I can't rotate sencilsfor electrical diagrams.

It is also very important that text be able to be rotated.
