Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2010-12-10 16:03:10 UTC
Version: SVN (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

There have been several improvements on performace of KWin in 4.6 and the Lancos filter and stuff. This seems to have a negative effect on transparent Aurorae decorations, though. I am using the Aero Ambiance theme (available on KGetNewStuff) which is the Ubuntu theme with Windows Aero transparency and borders as SVG file with built-in shadow.
In the Present Windows Grid (whose appearance effect lags quite although itself works smoothly) there is no transparency for the decoration, i.e. its border is black-grey (the Aero effect on black) and the shadow is all black. Same goes for the Window preview in Taskbar. See attachment.
The decoration of Maximized windows flickers in the Grid and shows a white title background (its border is hidden) in the window preview

Reproducible: Always
