Description swansma 2001-05-20 19:42:20 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: KDE 2.1.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Linux-Mandrake 8.0 2.96-0.48mdk)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I request that the FAQ is changed to reflect the fact that
Sun's JDK1.3.1rc2 works perfectly with konqueror.
The Sun JDK needs to be added to the list of working
JDKs and I recommend that the FAQ direct people to
download the SUN JDK instead of the Blackdown JDK.

Fixed long ago, FAQ no longer recommends a specific JDK and the Konqueror+Java
Howto recommends several, including the Sun one.
