Description André Fettouhi 2010-12-07 20:27:25 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: Linux

Since KDE 4.5.2 I've had graphical corruptions on my desktop at every login with air plasma themes and deratives of that theme. I have attached a screen dump off my desktop with the corruption. I can remove it by applying another theme and then reapplying the air theme again. But it reappears a the next login again. Running a 64 bit system with a nvidia 9800 GT card.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Use air plasma theme and relogin or restart.

Actual Results:
Graphical corruption.

Expected Results:
No corruption.

the "graphical corruption" is the box and shadow in the upper left area of the desktop? does it also happen if you start up with a theme other than air? (you can test this easily enough by setting a different theme then doing "kquitapp plasma-desktop; plasma-desktop" in a konsole window)

Yes, that is the box and shadow in the upper left corner I'm talking about and it onlu happens with the air themes and themes derived from it. Themes like Heron etc. do not show this behaviour.
