when i try to launch amarok 2.3.90 (beta),  it crashed at startup.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Could you please try with a new user? I strongly suspect a problem with your configuration, I can't reproduce this behavior here at all.

Hm, the output states this:

[WARNING] [ScanManager] Running scanner from Amarok while another Amarok instance is also running is dangerous.

please check if you are not running amarok already, apparently something is already running in the background. 'killall amarok' should kill all instances.

i have only this new error:

The version of the tool "amarokcollectionscanner 'does not match the version of Amarok.
The scanning of the collection may not work correctly.

Please make sure  all amarok related packages have the same version, there are amarok, amarok-utils and amarok-common

amarok (2.4.0) on KDE Platform 4.6.00 (4.6.0) using Qt 4.7.1

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Just started playing the music (mp3).
I have them in a NTFS partition.
It starts playing normal for about 2 seconds, so it crashes. Tried several musics.
