I installed Scala 2.8.1 into /home/ilya/scala

I navigate with dolphin to Scala API documentation index 
/home/ilya/scala/doc/scala-devel-docs/api/index.html
and open it

After that kio_thumbnail open with dialog (screentshot attached) is appearing endlessly - I press Cancel and it appears again 

Reproducible: Always

KDE 4.5.3, confirm this bug. 
Steps to reproduce: 
1. Make 'information' panel visible
2. Select (not open) .doc file (in fact, there is html in that .doc) in attached archive

If you save http://www.sapo.pt/ locally and then focus the file in Dolphin, kio_thumbnail will also enter this endless open-with dialog loop

Hello, I have the same problem: when I move my mouse pointer over a htm page the marathon of those modal windows starts as I described that in this forum:

As the user 'oblivion' advised - only slapping F11 key to hide Information pane helps. But then I cannot see any preview even images files so it's only temporary solution.
Can I ask you when you plan to make any update or whatever what would solve this bug, pls?

Using KDE 4.6 RC2, having the same problem. It appears any time previews are being generated for html files that contain frames (I'm guessing it's trying to load the other files into the frames, causing the dialog).

the last one is a very good guess, since i have the problem right now with a javadoc. (they contain frames)

i have no idea how to stop this without logging off.
