Since a longer time (this is, about a year), all versions of amarok reliably crash after inserting a CD, regardless of its contents.

Interestingly, kscd doesn't work either; it's not apparently able to access the CD at all (this is most certainly a different bug).  On the other hand, amarok actually does something (since I hear the CD drive work), and it seems to crash while building a table of contents of the music CD.

Hopefully, the autogenerated data are sufficient to find the problem; otherwise, please tell me what I shall do.

Note that both mplayer and xine can play CDs just fine.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
