(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kde Version: unknown (using KDE 2.1.2 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: Linux-Mandrake 8.0 i586 Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Linux-Mandrake 8.0 2.96-0.48mdk) OS: Linux 2.4.3-20mdk i686 OS/Compiler notes: Even though I'm using Linux I need to shutdown my machine. Its in my living room and noisy. I'm attached to a 10Mbit broadband and get my IP from a DHCP server. I configured my network to receive machine name from the DHCP server and get a new one each time :-( This results in DCop files in my home dir with new names each time after 20 boots. I have 40 files the link and the .Dcop... file Very annoying could this get cleaned up on kde start time? (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)
This is available since KDE 3.0 (dcopserver_shutdown, run at the end of startkde, takes care of removing the old files)
