Description Stephan Binner 2001-05-10 21:33:12 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: ksnapshot
Version: KDE 2.2.0 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Introduce global key shortcuts for ksnapshot which take a screenshot of the whole screen or just the active window/window under cursor.

Windows uses Ctrl-Print and Ctrl-Alt-Print for this. The last is perhaps not possible Ctrl-Shift-Print would be an alternative.

This is done in the latest cvs (print screen copies the desktop to the
clipboard ctrl-print screen copies the active window).

Rich.
ps. Need KDE *after* 2.2b1
