(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: 1.2 (using KDE 2.1.2 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.1 Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81) OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Kernel 2.4-2.2 I'm looking for a redirect feature - ie redirect the current e-mail to a new recipient maintaining the From: header but adding a Redirect: header. This is useful in the following case: 1. I receive e-mail to my home address (and filter spam here) 2. I then forward the e-mail to my work address. 3. From work it would be easier to just do a reply to the original sender than to cut/paste the e-mail address in and also makes it far easier to sort e-mail by original sender. 4. I do not want to publish my work e-mail address since I do wish to have that address bombarded with spam. This report was filed by somebody else under #10311 and marked as completed but the bounce that was implemented does not satisify the original wishlist request. Bounce bounces back to the original sender and does not redirect the current message to a new user-specified recipient. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog. Fields OS manually changed)

When I redirect an e-mail from my sent items, kmail asks to enter an e-mail adress. But kmail doesn't use this new adress, it uses the recipient from the original e-mail.
