When text is selected some actions will cause kate to delete the selected text. Navigationg from View/Documents/Tabs triggers the bug

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1/ Open a document > select some text > open another one > switch back to the first document in the Documents tab > Previously selected text is deleted.

2/ Open a document > select some text > Open the Document tab > Close the Document tab > Previously selected text is deleted.

Actual Results:  
Selected text is deleted

Expected Results:  
Nothing

This bug is quite old. This bug had been reproduced on Archlinux, Ubuntu 10.04 an 10.10
