Description nils 2010-07-12 22:28:57 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

I have an iiyama E2210HDS on VGA connected to my notebook. I can choose the right resolution for it, which is 1920x1080. But after rebooting, the external monitor uses the same resolution as the notebook display, which is 1440x900.
When I have switched to the right resolution in the system settings, my mouse pointer disappears and reappears a few minutes later.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Choose the right resolution in the KDE Monitor settings, then reboot and reset the settings.

Expected Results:
It should save the right resolution for the monitor und make it use that. The mouse pointer should not disappear.
