The embedded picture is with 99% certainty a so called StarView Metafile. This shouldn't be releveant for classification. I have never before encountered a picture in that format.

Nandita can you clarify how the test data was created ? what did you use to get this StarView Metafile `? where did you get this sample document ?

Suresh, this document is collected from internet. We did not create the document.

Based on prev comment, reopening the bug.
Comment 4 Inge Wallin 2011-04-18 02:37:03 UTC
This picture is an SVM, which Calligra doesn't have support for at this time.

Move to calligra-common
Comment 5 Inge Wallin 2011-04-25 13:57:10 UTC
This picture is starting to look Ok now. Still some problem with scaling and no text yet, but we are getting there...
Comment 6 Inge Wallin 2011-05-01 14:43:10 UTC
I think that the bug as it is described in the title "Picture inserted ... is not shown." is now fixed. So I'm going to close this bug as resolved.

Any detailed errors will have to be reported as separate bugs. I already did one: Bug 272151
