More information, amarokcollectio stays running as a thread along with npviewer.bin after app crash. Restarting Amarok causes another instance of amarokcollectio. I think I'm running Neopumuk as my backend, but can't verify. amarokcollectio consumes 1 processing core and my network activity spikes, so I can only assume that it is (@ least) trying to recompile the collection db.
OpenSuSE 11.2, KDE 4.4.3.x SuSE Factory build (updated nightly)
