Version:           2.3.0 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-22-generic

When i try to sort my files by date in amarok, it takes forever and it sorts by day date and not by year.
a quick example:
amarok uses this order:   01/05/2008
                          01/05/2009
                          02/05/2007
                          02/05/2009
it sorts by day and not  by year.

Amarok should do this: (like any other file browser)
                          02/05/2007
                          01/05/2008
                          01/05/2009
                          02/05/2009
