Description Andreas Pietzowski 2010-03-27 15:48:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Since KDE 4.4 KAlarm only plays a sound when I set it to "beep". Choosing a wav-file or an ogg-file results in no playback.
Comment 1 David Jarvie 2010-04-07 23:24:29 UTC
The problem seems to be that KAlarm set the sound volume to an invalid level when no volume has been explicitly set for the alarm, with the result that the audio file would play silently.

This is now fixed for KDE 4.4.3 (SVN commits 1112326, 1112327).
