Application: kded4 ($Id: kded.cpp 1031637 2009-10-05 16:58:19Z lunakl $) KDE Platform Version: 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1) Qt Version: 4.6.2 Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-17-generic x86_64 Distribution: Ubuntu lucid (development branch) -- Information about the crash: There is a chance this occurs only on Kubuntu packages, but it occurs everytime. How to reproduce: 1) I scp anything from a remote machine to this machine and I get a popup stating "Software upgrade notifications are available" 2) I click the "Details" button in the message popup and the crash occurs If possible, if you are on a custom build or non-Kubuntu build, could you please try to scp anything from a remote computer to your computer running KDE >= 4.4.1. When the scp completes you should receive a message notification about upgrade notifications available. I sure hope this isn't the expected behavior as it is quite silly and very annoying as I scp so many times a day. And if you click on details button you should get the crash. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: KDE Daemon (kdeinit4), signal: Segmentation fault [KCrash Handler] #5 QMap<QString, QString>::findNode (this=0x0, name=..., language=...) at /usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qmap.h:458 #6 QMap<QString, QString>::contains (this=0x0, name=..., language=...) at /usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qmap.h:530 #7 Hook::getField (this=0x0, name=..., language=...) at /build/buildd/kubuntu-notification-helper-10.04ubuntu1/src/daemon/hookevent/hook.cpp:84 #8 0x00007feb958526ab in HookGui::updateDialog (this=0x14fdc30, hooks=) at /build/buildd/kubuntu-notification-helper-10.04ubuntu1/src/daemon/hookevent/hookgui.cpp:78 #9 0x00007feb95852cc9 in HookGui::showDialog (this=0x14fdc30, hooks=<value optimized out>) at /build/buildd/kubuntu-notification-helper-10.04ubuntu1/src/daemon/hookevent/hookgui.cpp:47 #10 0x00007feb95851784 in HookEvent::run (this=0x140f2c0) at /build/buildd/kubuntu-notification-helper-10.04ubuntu1/src/daemon/hookevent/hookevent.cpp:72 #11 0x00007feb958520e1 in HookEvent::qt_metacall (this=0x140f2c0, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=<value optimized out>, _a=<value optimized out>) at /build/buildd/kubuntu-notification-helper-10.04ubuntu1/obj-x86_64-linux-gnu/src/daemon/hookevent.moc:74 #12 0x00007feba9bdcdcf in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x14e1610, m=<value optimized out>, local_signal_index=<value optimized out>, argv=0x530055005f006e) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3293 #13 0x00007febaa145095 in KNotification::activate (this=0x14e1610, action=1) at ../../kdeui/notifications/knotification.cpp:230 #14 0x00007febaa148538 in KNotificationManager::notificationActivated (this=0x1508d00, id=424, action=1) at ../../kdeui/notifications/knotificationmanager.cpp:87 #15 0x00007febaa14870d in KNotificationManager::qt_metacall (this=0x1508d00, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=<value optimized out>, _a=0x7fff292d9cf0) at ./knotificationmanager_p.moc:76 #16 0x00007feba7f8f486 in QDBusConnectionPrivate::deliverCall (this=<value optimized out>, object=<value optimized out>, msg=<value optimized out>, metaTypes=..., slotIdx=<value optimized out>) at qdbusintegrator.cpp:904 #17 0x00007feba7f9a05f in QDBusCallDeliveryEvent::placeMetaCall(QObject*) () from /usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4 #18 0x00007feba9bd9cd9 in QObject::event (this=0x1508d00, e=0x11f45d0) at kernel/qobject.cpp:1248 #19 0x00007feba8d6622c in QApplicationPrivate::notify_helper (this=0x11ad640, receiver=0x1508d00, e=0x11f45d0) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:4300 #20 0x00007feba8d6c6fb in QApplication::notify (this=0x7fff292da7e0, receiver=0x1508d00, e=0x11f45d0) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:4183 #21 0x00007febaa111516 in KApplication::notify (this=0x7fff292da7e0, receiver=0x1508d00, event=0x11f45d0) at ../../kdeui/kernel/kapplication.cpp:302 #22 0x00007feba9bc9ffc in QCoreApplication::notifyInternal (this=0x7fff292da7e0, receiver=0x1508d00, event=0x11f45d0) at kernel/qcoreapplication.cpp:704 #23 0x00007feba9bcc777 in QCoreApplication::sendEvent (receiver=0x0, event_type=<value optimized out>, data=0x1126cb0) at ../../include/QtCore/../../src/corelib/kernel/qcoreapplication.h:215 #24 QCoreApplicationPrivate::sendPostedEvents (receiver=0x0, event_type=<value optimized out>, data=0x1126cb0) at kernel/qcoreapplication.cpp:1345 #25 0x00007feba9bf3963 in QCoreApplication::sendPostedEvents (s=<value optimized out>) at ../../include/QtCore/../../src/corelib/kernel/qcoreapplication.h:220 #26 postEventSourceDispatch (s=<value optimized out>) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:276 #27 0x00007feba4d95972 in g_main_context_dispatch () from /lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #28 0x00007feba4d997f8 in ??
