Version: (using KDE 4.4.1) Compiler: gcc-4.4.3 OS: Linux Installed from: Archlinux Packages Kmail (and also kontact) has a problem showing the subject in the fancy headers view with certain fonts. I've found this when using the Candara font, which I think is part of WindowsXP. I haven't seen this problem with the same font in any other KDE application. To duplicate the problem: 1) Configure kmail to use the Candara font for message bodies; 2) create a new e-mail with subject "BLA BLA: 3BLA" and save it as draft; 3) open the e-mail just created; 4) choose the fancy headers view and look at the subject. When the subject is a bit different, the problem is not occuring: subject is "BLA BLA: 3BLA" --> occuring; subject is "bla bla: 3BLA" --> not occuring; subject is "BLA BLA: A3BLA" --> not occuring. This is probably not a high-priority bug, because most other fonts are OK, but it is annoying (because I like the Candara font or look-a-likes).
