What I was doing when the application crashed:
Steps to reproduce: 

Open K3b
Go to Settings menu
Select 'Setup System Premissions' option

K3b immediately crashes.

- Do you have "polkit"/"policykit" installed ?
This could be related to bug 215661 (or bug 208695 / bug 200953).

It is solved now.

Installing policykit and polkit solved the issue.

#aptitude install ~npolicykit
#aptitude install ~npolkit

However... I will report it to Debian to see if there is a dependency problem
