Version:           1.0 (using 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1)), Gentoo)
Compiler:          x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-gentoo-r6

I use a nonstandard keyboard layout (-variant "neo"). To allow me to use it in KDM, I have to switch the layout globally (xorg.conf), but after login I can switch with a click on the country flag. 

What I'm missing is a way to select the list of keyboard layouts for KDM and to switch the layout directly in KDM.
