I have two applets enabled: Lyrics and Albums, with Lyrics being on the top. Whenever a song with lyrics is loaded, the Lyrics applet modifies its height to match the length of the lyrics. Which is good, but it always matches the _whole_ length. This means that if the lyrics are longer than the height of the window, the applet will be as well: it will continue invisibly under the applet selector and beyond.

In my case, it means that the last verses are no visible, there is no scrollbar to scroll to them (since the panel's size is the same as that of the lyrics) and that the Albums applet is not visible anymore either.

Which KDE version?

KDE version 4.4 RC1. Amarok is at 2.2.2.

This should be fixed in Amarok 2.2.3-git already.
