Description Vovochka 2010-01-11 07:50:14 UTC
Version: 3.3.90 (using 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1)) "release 209", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.8-0.1-desktop

I have selected "Autodetect cyrilic" in settings but each file that i open is opened in utf8. But files in cp1251.
Even so, kate doesn't mark file as readonly because of the wrong encoding and let me to edit the file.

Sorry for my english.
