Description Mario R. Carro 2010-01-10 01:29:17 UTC
Version: 1.12.4 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-trunk-686

I've been moving folders full of messages from the local folders to an imap server (dovecot). The folders may have a few messages or many thousands.

After a few minutes I started to notice that the memory used by kmail increases all the time. htop shows always increasing numbers in the columns VIRT, RES and MEM%. After every few full folder moves I have to close and reopen kmail to avoid the OOM killer.

The leaks are more pronounced when the messages have attachments (or perhaps happen only in that case).

Thanks...
