Description Matthias Weiss 2010-01-07 23:58:44 UTC
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Whenever I play a song in my playlist (doesn't matter which song of the playlist) amarok stops playing by the end of the song, the rest of the playlist isn't played.

Before you mark this as a duplicate of bug #209238 - yes, I'm using the phonon xine backend version 4.3.1, the latest (and greatest??) of debian unstable.

Do you have any playlist actions activated?

Please start amarok from a konsole with -d --nofork and check what is happening when the playback stops and paste the relevant output here.

No, I had no playlist actions (repeat, shuffle, etc.) enabled. There was also no "stop after this track" thing enabled.

But anyway, I just tried half a dozen times now to reproduce this bug but I can't. amarok works like a charm.

After the frustration of yesterday, when amarok stopped after every track, no matter how often I restarted it, this is now extra frustration and I can feel this bug sitting in amarok and lauqhing at me.

Don't worry, I will close it, then. You might be interested to look at bug 221588 or bug 192114 who both describe similar problems. Yours is most likely one of those

Myriam, I think you can safely mark my bug as a duplicate of #192114, I had some missing mp3's in my playlist. The description matches my experience, I had some tracks in the playlist where I had moved the mp3's before. I removed those entries from the playlist ... and the bug disapeared.

OK, thank you for the feedback.
