Wish: 

amarok 1.4 had this feature, and 2.* has it in the collection search: 

AND / OR operators to join search expressions in the playlist search bar.  


Example usecase:  

I have an already created playlist with multiple artist from the same genere. Now for the next few songs I only want songs from 3 different artists of this list. 
With "artist1 OR artist2 OR artist3"  in the search bar (I have filtering enabled, so only show matching results) I could create a dynamic playlist on the fly and only with the keyboard (Thanks to either Ctrl+J or the open request which wants search as you type). 



I am aware of the fact that I can achieve the same thing by using the music sources panel, but this requires much more mouse and keyboard interaction. This would be more consistent behavior between the two search boxes (playlist and music sources) as well. 

I don't think that this would be more complicated for users, as users not being aware of this feature are as well not distracted by it. (Best example: Google search, which features such extended operands as well)
