Description kde-frank 2001-03-07 23:58:40 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: KDE 2.1.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.2 (release)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: glibc-2.2

In some cases dragging a link from a konqueror window fails. Instead of dragging a link a text region is selected. The link which was supposed to be dragged is activated (it seems konqueror misses the drag_start event and interprets the mouse_down as a mouse_click). This is rather easy to reproduce simply drag a few links from a konqueror window. About one in every 4 drags fail and produce the stated effect instead.

Still reproducible with HEAD. Looks like a timing problem..
Comment 2 Gunter Ohrner 2003-01-09 10:42:01 UTC
Still reproducible in KDE 3.1rc5 - looks as if the problem will still be in the final KDE 3.1 as
well. :-(

Greetings,
