Version:           amarok-2.2.1-1.fc11.x86_64 (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

How to reproduce:
- clear playlist
- add all songs from the local collection to the playlist
- amarok auto starts with the first song
- press next and the second song is played
- press next and the third song is played
- (and so on)

(Playlist > Random > tracks) is selected but the playlist doesn't play the songs randomly.
