Version: (using KDE 4.3.3) Compiler: gcc 4.4.2 glibc 2.10.1 OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled From Sources HI When I open eg: 3 tabs then a blank one . Then paste in a url to the blank one(new tab) and before hitting enter, I go back to the other tabs. The url I pasted in the new tab follows to all the other tabs. rare for some but not me cause I do copy past part of the url to add other parts to it . So going back to grab another part is not going to work :)
I can confirm this. Seems like a corner case, but definitely reproduceable on KDE 4.3.3 (slackware64, distro packages) To produce: Open a few tabs, and populate them. In a new tab, right-click->paste a URL, then switch tabs before pressing enter. Cheers
Can reproduce it in Debian packages (konqueror 4.3.1 and 4.3.2, see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=558226 ) and in trunk (30/11/2009).
This still happensinkde4.5.0 :(
still does it in kde 4.5.1 too
I cannot reproduce this in v4.6 and up. If any of can reproduce this with v4.6 and up, feel free to reopen the bug report. Please do not re-open it to report if the same exact problem occurs when you clear the location bar before switching tabs instead. It is a known problem and will be resolved in KDE v4.6.5.
